Annie Malaythong
With hard work and dedication to each and everything she does, Annie is a very motivating and inspiring individual.
Her thrill of life comes along with being a pole-vaulter for seven years and competing at the Division I collegiate level for Boise State University and as well as California State University, Fresno. While battling double surgery on her left knee, Annie accomplished a personal best of 12' 9.5" inches as a pole vaulter for Fresno State and became a three-time national qualifier for the NCAA Regional Track and Field Competitions as well as a NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American.
In 2007, Annie was selected to the Fitness Dreamteam. Annie's background of physical therapy, gymnastics, and power-lifting has allowed her to climb the ladder of fitness training. Her love for health and fitness has led her to obtain her Bachelors of Science Degree in Health and Rehabilitation (Pre-Physical Therapy). Annie is a the owner of Studio 108 (www.FitnessStudio108.com) specializing in Medical Fitness, NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Associate Master Instructor, a certified IatroFitness specialist, Certified AFFA Group Exercise Instructor, Certified Body Success Nutrition Coach, PNF Stretch Specialist, and is CPR/First Aide Certified through American Red Cross.
She is also now a featured trainer on MTV's new show called "I Used To Be Fat" debuted on November 22, 2011. Annie also is currently part of an ongoing child obesity campaign called "The Run For The Dream Project" and is currently working on her Food Psychology Coach certification. Annie does motivational speaking at schools, corporate events and seminars. She also is working with local medical doctors to help educate, motivate, and inspire the community to live healthier lives.
